Publishing
Connect your social accounts, choose how posts go out (review or automatic), schedule to the calendar, and retry failed posts.
Publishing is how finished reels, carousels, and clips leave Ikrames and land on your social accounts. You connect each account once, decide whether posts wait for your approval or go out automatically, and schedule them onto a calendar. This page is the full reference; for the quick loop, see Publish & schedule.
Connect a social account
Go to Brand Settings ▸ Socials. Each platform is a card. Click Connect on one and Ikrames sends you through that platform's own OAuth sign-in; when you come back, the card flips to Connected as @yourhandle. Ikrames securely holds the access tokens for you — you never paste an API key. For a first-time walkthrough, see Connect your accounts.
Connections are per brand. If you run several brands, connect the accounts for each one separately from that brand's Socials page.
Note. A brand created moments ago may show its connect buttons disabled while it finishes setting up. Give it a few seconds and refresh — the buttons enable once the brand is ready.
Which platforms can I connect?
You can connect Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), Threads, LinkedIn, and Facebook today. Cards for Bluesky, Pinterest, Reddit, Mastodon, Discord, Slack, and Google Business appear too, marked coming soon — they're planned but not connectable yet.
Disconnect an account
On a connected card, click Disconnect and confirm. The account is removed from that brand and stops being a publish target. You can reconnect it any time.
Publish modes: review vs automatic
Every brand has a publish mode, set on Brand Settings ▸ Socials:
- Review (default) — nothing goes out on its own. Anything generated for you — auto-planned posts, recurring-plan content, finished clips — waits in a "to approve" state until you release it by hand.
- Automatic — approved plans and clips publish on their schedule with no manual step. You turn this on per brand, and Ikrames shows a warning first so the change is deliberate.
The mode is a simple radio toggle and saves as soon as you pick it.
Safe by default: nothing auto-publishes until you switch
A brand never publishes on its own while it's in Review mode — which is where every brand starts. Auto-generated content simply holds for you; a finished clip stays in your Clips studio marked for approval instead of going live. Only when you deliberately switch that brand to Automatic does scheduled content start posting without a manual click. You'll never be surprised by a post you didn't approve.
Schedule a post to the calendar
When you publish an item, you choose the target platform(s) and a time. Scheduled posts land on your Calendar (sidebar ▸ Content ▸ Calendar), which shows everything scheduled, posted, or failed, filterable by status. The Schedules page gives a compact queue of what's upcoming and what recently went out; you can cancel anything that hasn't posted yet.
Auto-planned and recurring content flows through the same calendar — see Planning to set those up.
Retry a failed post in Logs
If a post fails, open Logs (sidebar ▸ System ▸ Logs). It's a read-only history of your brand's jobs, newest first, colour-coded by status, with duration and — on failure — the error message (click to expand it). Use the All / Running / Failed filter to jump straight to failures.
A failed publish job shows a Retry button. Click it, confirm, and Ikrames re-dispatches the post as a fresh job — watch the list for its new status.
