Carousels

The two ways to create a multi-slide carousel, the templates and framing behind them, and how slide, photo, and caption editing works.

A carousel is a multi-slide post — a hook, a build of body slides, and a closing call-to-action — with copy written in your brand voice and each slide rendered as an image over your visual identity. There are two ways to make one.

Once you have an active brand, open Aurea — the chat bubble on any page, or the Setup-Assistant — and describe the carousel you want (for example, "a carousel on the 3 biggest onboarding mistakes"). Aurea writes the slide copy herself, picks a dramaturgical blueprint (a 5–9 slide narrative arc whose last slide is always a call-to-action), and renders each slide over a brand template. Before anything is created, an approval card shows the credit cost; a carousel costs 20 credits. After you approve it builds in about 10–20 seconds, the preview appears in the chat, and the finished carousel lands in your library.

If you explicitly ask Aurea for multiple takes, options, or variants, she can produce 1 to 3 variants of the same brief at once. Each extra take uses a different blueprint arc, so the variants are structurally different — not reworded copies. They render in parallel and Aurea shows a selection gallery; you keep one and the rest are discarded. The price is variants × 20 credits, shown on the approval card before you commit. Variants only happen when you ask — a normal request always makes a single carousel.

For more control, start from an idea. Capture or open one on the Ideas board, choose a carousel template, and Ikrames fills it slide by slide and opens the result in Script Review. This path lets you pick the exact layout and edit every slide before you spend render credits.

Ikrames ships two families of ready-made templates:

  • Archetypes (3) — single-slide identity layouts: Authority (a quotable claim over a verified author header), Topic Page (a faceless photo hero with an uppercase headline), and Personal Brand (your face plus a first-person hook).
  • Lead-magnet formats (5) — multi-slide, save-worthy carousels: Checklist, Framework / System, Mistakes list, Mini-Guide, and Swipe collection.

You can also build and edit your own brand templates in the visual canvas editor — see Library & templates.

Choose a framing pattern and pillar in Script Review

At the top of Script Review are two pickers. The framing pattern sets the rhetorical frame — how the post argues its point. The pillar sets what it's about, drawn from the content pillars you define in Brand Settings. Both are saved on the idea. When you change either one, a Regenerate button appears that re-runs the fill against your new choice.

Edit slides, photos, and captions

Script Review is a full editor for the carousel before it renders:

  • Slide text — edit any text field inline, with a character counter against its limit.
  • Regenerate — rewrite a single slide (or one item of a repeating slide) without touching the rest.
  • Photos — for slides with a photo, swap the picture from your asset pool, a fresh upload, a stock search, or the resolver's suggested picks; reset to fall back to the brand default.
  • Caption & hashtags — edit them directly, or regenerate the caption.

Edits save automatically as you type. When it reads right, click Render to produce the final image set (this spends credits), or use Render variant to spin off a fresh, differently-worded take into its own draft.

The brand wordmark on every rendered slide

Every carousel gets a wordmark added automatically at render time, based on your plan:

  • Free — a small "made with ikrames.com" line in the corner.
  • Paid (Creator / Pro / Studio / Studio+) with a brand wordmark set — your own mark as an image overlay.
  • Paid without a wordmark set — no mark at all.

Note. The wordmark is applied at render, so it always reflects your current plan and brand setup — you don't add it per slide.
