Image & video generation

Ikrames has two generation studios that turn a text prompt into an asset — a still image or a short video clip. Both live under Generate in the sidebar. What you make here also becomes the raw B-roll behind your reels and the pictures inside your carousels.

Both studios share the same shape: a command bar for your prompt, a row of model cards, a few settings, and a live results area below.

Generate an image from a prompt

1. Open Generate ▸ Image.
2. Type what you want into the command bar (3–500 characters). Stuck? Tap one of the example prompt chips to drop in a starter.
3. Pick a model card and adjust the settings (below).
4. Click Generate.

Your image starts building right away — a card appears in the results area and updates itself when it's ready, so you never wait on a blank screen. Finished images collect in a history grid underneath, and in your media library.

Generate a video from a prompt

Open Generate ▸ Video, type a prompt, pick a model, set the length and format, and click Generate. The clip builds in the background and lands in your history strip and your library.

Note. Video generation runs on the paid plans. On the free plan the video model cards are locked — image generation is where the free plan shines.

Choosing a model: free vs. higher plans

Each studio shows the available models as cards, grouped by the plan they need. Every card carries the model's name, a one-line description of what it's good for, and its credit cost for your current settings.

• The image studio includes models you can use on the free plan — including a fast, low-cost option — alongside sharper, more capable ones.
• Some models need a higher plan. A locked card shows a 🔒 and the plan it belongs to (for example Creator or Pro) instead of a price, so you can see what an upgrade unlocks without leaving the page. Locked cards can't be selected until your plan covers them.

Image size, number of images, and seed

Once you've chosen an image model, a settings row appears:

Video models expose their own controls where supported — clip length, aspect ratio (9:16 or 16:9), resolution, and an audio toggle. The options shown depend on the model you picked.

Adding B-roll categories, a setting, or an avatar to a video

The video studio has a few extras for shaping the clip:

• B-roll categories — chip toggles plus a custom field. Pick several and Ikrames makes one clip per category.
• Setting and Avatar pickers appear only once you have saved settings or avatars. Choose one and the clip is generated with that reference — a consistent backdrop, or your avatar as the subject (a silent, cinematic clip, not a talking head).

Editing, varying, and upscaling an image

Click any finished image in the history grid or library to open it full-size. The side panel offers three follow-up actions that each spend credits, with a cost estimate shown before you click:

• Variation — re-roll a new take guided by the prompt, with a strength slider for how far it drifts from the original.
• Edit — describe a change in the prompt field and Ikrames transforms the image to match.
• Upscale — enlarge to 2× or 4× for a crisper, higher-resolution version.

Each action produces a brand-new image in your history, leaving the original untouched. You can also download the full-resolution file from the same panel.

What generation costs

Generating an image or video spends credits, and the cost is shown on the model card and preview before you commit — never a surprise. If your balance is too low, Ikrames blocks the run and offers a top-up instead of failing silently. Both the price of an option and which models you can reach depend on your plan.
