Plans & credits
How Ikrames plans and credits work — what spends credits, where they come from, and why they never expire.
Ikrames runs on two things: a plan (your subscription level) and credits (what you spend to generate and render content).
Plans
There's a free plan and a ladder of paid plans — Creator, Pro, Studio, and Studio+. Moving up a plan generally means a larger monthly credit allowance, access to higher-quality models, and room for more brands.
For what each plan includes and its current price, see the pricing page — that's the authoritative source. We don't restate plan limits here because they can change; the app and pricing page always show the current ones.
What spends credits
Credits are spent on the work Ikrames does for you — mainly:
- Generating content (writing scripts, producing voice and avatars, generating B-roll, images, and video),
- Rendering the final reel or carousel,
- an assistant turn when Aurea does something for you.
A single reel is usually several charges — creating and rendering are separate. You're always shown the amount before you confirm, and a job won't start if you can't cover it.
Where credits come from
- A one-time starter grant when your workspace is created.
- A monthly allowance from a paid plan, added each billing cycle.
- Top-ups you buy anytime.
Your current balance is always in the sidebar footer.
Credits never expire
Credits are always additive — monthly allowances and top-ups add to your balance, never reset it — and they don't disappear at the end of a month or when you change or cancel a plan. See do my credits expire? for the details.
Any date you see tied to your plan is when your next allowance is added, not an expiry — nothing is ever removed from your balance.
